CMS TeamEdward P. MurrayPresident & CTO Since joining CMS in August of 1990, Edward Murray has been responsible for the development and successful implementation of CMS Lockbox software into numerous operating environments across the country. Much of CMS’ success today can be attributed, in particular, to his 17 years of managing the programming staff, as well as his hands-on participation in the development of all CMS software applications. Edward has more than 24 years programming experience / applications development, technical writing, and systems design. He began his career in 1984 at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith in New York City where he was responsible for the development of a highly visible PC application for the Consumer Markets Division, and notably, early desktop workstation software for the Capital Markets Division. Edward’s skills as a programmer combined with his unique insight into the evolution of Remittance processing has allowed CMS the ability to translate complex, real-life business problems into viable solutions that meet the needs CMS customers have today, as well as enable them to plan for the future. Few other executives in his field have the ability to both lead their company and also develop its software.
